Common Thread acts as a reminder that within the diverse ecosystem that is the fashion scene in Ireland, the backgrounds, practices, aesthetics, and stories of every artist may be different, yet we all still remain connected by that common thread that is our pursuit in fashion.

This runway show is a celebration of that diversity. From Filipino designers, designers from non-fashion backgrounds, and even a mother-daughter duo, this runway show emphasises celebrating our differences. When we embrace and integrate each of these different backgrounds, we uncover the beauty hidden in all walks of life. We may speak in different ways, but we mutually understand each other through the language of fashion.
